My name is Karen Stringfellow. I am a civil marriage celebrant located in Brisbane.  I love weddings and working with couples to plan their big day. I will be your celebrant where ever you invite me.

I service all of Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Northern New South Wales and all the way out to Toowoomba. Planning a destination wedding? My passport is current, pick me!

It’s crazy but, I did miss my wedding day. Not in the physical sense but definitely in the mental sense. See, I was an original Bridezilla and control freak with the smile of an angel.

I planned my wedding day down to the last minute and dollar. I did everything myself and was proud to be able to throw together a DIY project for the day.

Pintrest wasn’t a thing back then but I had the “Bride Scrapbook” and an excel spreadsheet. By being so focused on everything else I missed our special day. I don’t want this for you.

Celebrant Only Package

Your package will include:

This is a celebrant only package. As your celebrant I will write a heartfelt ceremony with your input. I listen to what you want for you declaration of love and we write and build it together.

You are free to add readings, religious blessings if this is important to you and your family. We can add a song sung by a family member or friend. You are encouraged to add what ever you like to make the ceremony really yours.

If you would like to add your love story to the start of the ceremony this is a lovely idea. It’s also my favourite part of a wedding ceremony.

If you would like to write your own vows, I can help you with this.

This is your ceremony, you can tailor it to make it your special ceremony.

  • Ceremony, solemnised by an authorised civil marriage celebrant 
  • Decorative marriage certificate given on the day
  • Performed at your choice of venue 
  • Custom written vows written by you to each other (optional)
  • You get to complete a “love story questionnaire” to help me write your love story as part of the opening to your ceremony (optional)
  • Up to 2 readings, poems or 1 song added to the ceremony (optional)
  • A ritual or custom ceremony to symbolise your commitment such as candle ceremony or hand fasting  – there are plenty to choose from (optional)
  • Involvement of your family, and/or children or even your dogs – yes, your dogs!

Ceremony at Grey Gum Bush Chapel

  • Location: Daisy Hill Conservation Park, Daisy Hill Road, Daisy Hill.
  • Ceremony will be conducted on a Friday only
  • Package includes decoration of the bush chapel, decorated with fresh flowers, white linen, signing table, off – white carpet aisle, chairs and rugs
  • Set-up and deconstruction of the area
  • Unlimited guests to enjoy your ceremony with you

This package includes:

Ceremony at your choice of venue

  • Arbour covered with crisp white linen
  • Roses & fresh green foliage, with white ribbon – to decorate arbour. You can have your arbour in a few different designs
  • Off-white aisle runner
  • 20 white Americana white folding chairs (extra chairs can be hired)
  • Signing table with white crisp linen tablecloth and 2 white chairs
  • Set-up of ceremony and deconstruction of ceremony – you just turn up & then leave

Kiss & Go Centro Cottage Ceremony

This package includes:

Hot Air Balloon Ceremony & Reception

This package includes:

Ceremony in Hot Air Balloon

  • Bride’s bouquet and groom’s boutonniere – white flowers in season
  • In flight Photos taken by our photographer of the ceremony
  • 360-degree views of the Gold Coast Hinterland
  • 60 minute flight in your own hot air balloon with expert pilot
  • Please bring 2 witness over the age of 18, who understand English
  • 8 guests to enjoy the flight and wedding ceremony
  • Personal Chauffeured Return Transfers to launch site
  • Extra sleep in & later pick up time
  • All insurance levies included
  • Photos can be taken while the balloon is preparing to launch

Breakfast Reception

  • Champagne breakfast at O’Reilly’s Vineyard, Canungra with your guests

Costume $100.00

I am happy to wear a costume for your ceremony. If you require me to provide a costume as part of your ceremony please add the following costume expense, unless you provide me with the costume.

MC your Reception $495.00

Are you needing an MC for your reception? I will help you put together your time line and the structure of your ceremony, to the reception. I will make sure your reception runs seamlessly and your guests enjoy your celebration

Reception Set-up $195.00

This package includes 2 hours, 2 people (myself and Miranda, my assistant) set-up your reception area for you if it is at the same location as your ceremony.

    Over the years of being a celebrant I have accumulated extra lovely things that I can hire out to my couples. If I am your celebrant I will be at your venue anyway so I can bring some extras along. 
    I offer a 3 day hire. 

    I can set-up your ceremony and reception, and then take it all away. 

     I will require a bond on your hire. Bond will depend on what you hire. All breakages or lost items must be replaced at full price. 

    Wedding Arbour

    Wedding Arbour that can be set up anywhere. Lots of different designs can be made with this arbour. I will set-up for you and pick up. If you book the White Linen package, this arbour is included in the price. Min hire 3 days.

    PA System & Stand

    The PA system is included with all my celebrant packages. It includes the speaker, microphone and stand. This system runs on battery. It also has Bluetooth. Great for the speeches and running a playlist off your phone.
